Are you as fed up as me with being bombarded by emails from companies who, unsure of the new GDPR rules which are totally open to interpretation, are trying to cover themselves? And yet, to quote Juliet Samuel, writer for the Telegraph, “all of these emails are totally unnecessary”. Some companies are struggling because they haven’t recorded consent to email you, yet by emailing you to then ask for consent they’re emailing you illegally anyway.
